The Week That Was
Power to the people who had no power in their homes and businesses. Savannahians came together and shared electricity, resources and Wi-Fi with neighbors. As of October 5th, Georgia Power has restored electricity to over 1.3 million customers, which is more than 95% of those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Voter’s Registration Deadline at FREE
The deadline for registering to vote in Georgia is today. This is also an excellent time to check your voter registration to make sure you are still on the voter rolls. Check out The Current’s Voter Guide.
