May is National Bike Month
And this Friday marks the annual National Bike to Work Day. If this is your first time biking to work, plan your route beforehand, dress appropriately (& have freshening up supplies on hand) and give yourself ample time so that you can stop by Bike Walk Savannah (corner of Lincoln & Henry) for complimentary coffee and snacks between 7:30-9:30am.
Neighborhood Associations
An oft forgotten way we can directly impact our community is through neighborhood associations. These organizations give space to voice concerns, stay up-to-date on happenings in your neighborhood, and provide avenues for getting to know your neighbors. See if your neighborhood is already organized or start your own group.
