Savannah Music Festival
This week marks the return of Georgiaâs largest musical arts festival. The Savannah Music Festival runs from March 28 to April 13th and features dozens of acts, spanning a wide range of genres, performing across the city. Athens band FutureBirds will be playing this Friday March 29th. Kennedy Center Honoree RenÊe Fleming will be performing on Easter Sunday at the Lucas Theatre.
Savannah Food Bits & Bites: Starland Edition
Nixtate is now open as a permanent flautas (rolled tacos) food stall at Starland Yard, which offers a convenient to-to window without entering the Yard. Two Tides opened Float in their taproom serving espresso + Crispi breakfast sandwiches, daily 7am-1pm. Inside the yellow house (formally Troupial) on 43rd, Cafe Colibri is serving coffee and pastries 8am-3pm (except Tuesdays; 9am-4pm Sundays) with brunch & lunch service to come. And Pizza Vittoria is now offering coffee, cannolis, and gelato on the weekends with plans to expand the offerings and timings.
