Flannery O’Connor Centennial Birthday Party at Lafayette Square. 1pm-4pm
There will be a book fair featuring local authors. Attendees will enjoy popup art show by Panhandle Slim, Flannery-inspired crafts by Live Oak Public Library and Starlandia, vintage merchandise from Vintage Vortex, and birthday cake in celebration of O’Connor’s 100th birthday. In addition people are invited to dress up as Flannery to compete in a Flannery O’Connor look-alike contest.
