Be A Tourist: Children’s Art Museum

Telfair Museums has recently opened their Children’s Art Museum (CAM), the first in Savannah, inside of the Jepson Center. The new permanent Impressionism exhibit replaced the previous children’s section with high-tech interactive features including a very cool digital and immersive experience of Monet’s water lilies garden in France. In the multi-level, yet compact space, kids and those young at heart can learn and play with color theory. On Saturdays & Sundays from 10am-2pm children can make their own art in the Drop-In Studio.
Admission to the Jepson is $25 for adults, $10 for ages 6-12, and free for 5 and under. With SNAP/EBT children 12 and under are free and $3 for adults (up to 4). Tickets also include entrance to the Telfair Academy and the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters.
