Be a Tourist: Lucas Theatre
If you have never been to the Lucas or have wanted to explore its gorgeous auditorium, this summer is the time to go. Starting this Wednesday, July 12 the theatre is hosting Wurlitzer Wednesdays, a free open house tour. You will be able to listen to the recently restored organ (on the half hour) accompany the SCAD-produced silent short film, “At Long Last.”
This open house will take place 11am - 2pm each Wednesday through August.
Back to School Swap
Less than a month until Savannah-Chatham County students return to school on August 3rd. To help you get ready for the new school year, Starland Swap is hosting a K-8 School Essentials Swap on Sunday, July 16, 12-2pm at Starland Yard.
Bring up to 10 items (gently-used clothes, backpacks, lunchboxes) to Litefoot Company or Starland Strange this week, prior to Sunday, and purchase a $5 ticket to attend.
