SCAD deFine Art 2024
This week (Monday - Friday) marks the return of the annual art festival with the opening of new exhibits at the SCAD Museum of Art, student group exhibits in SCAD galleries, visiting artist talks, performances, tours and more.
Notably Tuesday, February 27th is the Opening Party at the SCAD MOA from 6:30 to 9pm. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet visionary artists, view the new exhibits, and watch live performances.

March Haynes Community Day
Celebrate the life of March Haynes at the FREE Community Day at Fort Pulaski on Saturday, March 2nd from 10am - 4pm.
March Haynes, an enslaved person working at Fort Pulaski, was declared a free man after the siege in 1863. With his newfound freedom, he became a top conductor on the Underground Railroad and later a deacon at the First African Baptist Church in downtown Savannah.
At Pulaski the celebration is filled with special programming including guided tours, presentations, First African Baptist Church’s Children’s Choir and more. Check out the full schedule here. A food truck will be on site.
