What is your Savannahversary?
I moved here January 17, 2021.
What are two things you love about Savannah and one thing you wish were better?
Savannah is a great city for long walks and you can really end up anywhere, running into anyone. Savannah truly is the hostess city, everyone says hello and offers a smile. It’s easy to feel like you’re seeing an old friend the first time you meet someone. I would change the lack of doughnuts in Starland. I really need a Sunday doughnut spot, or maybe I don’t if I would eat too many.
What do you want people to know about you?
When you see me out walking my Corgi Winston and he lays down in the middle of the sidewalk, he’s not tired. He just wants you to pet him. We have constant arguments about not forcing people to pet him. But Winston always wins.
Better Ballot Georgia
Do you know how much money the 2020 cost Georgia? A study by Kennesaw State estimates that the 2020 runoff cost the state of Georgia 75 million, there’s a good bet that the 2022 runoff cost as much. Better Ballot Georgia is a nonpartisan group that advocates for instant runoff voting (IRV) which is also called ranked-choice voting. Watch the video that shows how ranked-choice voting works.
