Tax Deadline is April 18th
This year, you have a couple of extra days to file your taxes. Due to the fact that April 15th is a Saturday, the deadline for filing taxes or an extension is Tuesday April 18th. If your 2022 adjusted gross income (AGI) was $73,000 or less, check out the IRS Free File program. Also, make sure you include any interest income from checking accounts, IRAs and investments. Make sure you download any Form 1099-INT if they were not mailed. These forms are typically .pdfs that you can easily download and/or print out so that all of your income is included for tax filing. Note: Always do your federal taxes first, and then file your state second. Here’s the link for Georgia tax forms.
