The weather is good all weekend so a picnic in the park or a ride out to Tybee might be a good idea. Check out the Monday edition for a reminder of what’s also happening on this weekend.
Hotel Tybee is having a carnival all weekend. Also, the new pizza joint Farace’s Finest is open at 1605 Inlet Avenue.
Another family friendly event is Community Day at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum. 12pm-4pm FREE
With that said, the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon and 5K will affect traffic with road closures and bus service being rerouted. Bull, Drayton and Victory Drives will be affected between 6:45am and 11:30am. There will be lots of foot traffic at both Forsyth and Daffin Parks.
